Our art classes for children focus on providing social and emotional development in children, and confidence-building activities for kids. We keep our class sizes small so that we can provide individual support to each child in our 90-minute kid's group art class. We are inclusive and cater to all children, including home-schooling families and NDIS participants. Classes are also suitable activities for autistic kids.
Our group kids art classes provide fun group activities for kids to let them discover the joy of creating art. They are supported with a caring, learning environment for children and a calming, sensory experience. Our children's art classes are suitable for supporting children with social or behavioural issues or for children with special needs.
Art therapy activities can help kids cope with various emotional and behavioural problems. At Freestyle Arts, we engage young minds through art. Helping them express feelings and communicate them in better ways.
Jacqui is a highly qualified therapist with a background in teaching and is the ideal person to support your child.
Parental involvement is a huge factor in your child’s development and success. Parents are welcome to stay during classes and we provide a comfortable lounge area and coffee making facilities. We also keep you up-to-date regularly with emails and messages about what's happening at our studio.
We treat every child as our own, dedicating ourselves wholeheartedly to their success.
We are not just kids' art classes; we are also a community. Carers and parents are welcome to relax and socialise in our comfortable lounge with a coffee station while children create art and forge friendships in a safe and fun environment.
Art classes at Freestyle Arts are confidence-building activities for kids. We can help children with learning and behavioural difficulties to build self-esteem and support emotional and social development.
These small group classes for children introduce students to various art materials emphasising the experience of making art rather than the results. Children gain confidence as they express themselves artistically. This confidence can have a positive flow-on effect to other areas of their lives.
