Art Therapy - What is it?

What is Art Therapy?

Art Therapy utilises a range of creative mediums and techniques such as collage, colouring, painting and sculpting to help people explore self-expression and develop new coping skills.

The very act of making art allows a person to relax and access other parts of their brain to solve or explore and issue.

How Art Therapy can help?

Creating art can help with exploring emotions, developing self-awareness, coping with stress, boosting self-esteem and developing social skills.

Art Therapy is perfect to support a range of personal issues including: behavioural or social problems; dealing with trauma; helping individuals with learning difficulties; and many mental health problems.
